A Note from the Keeper
April Marie Light | Society of Lost Letters
I found this letter tucked inside a tattered book of forgotten poems — Songs of the Dying Rose, 1871. It had no envelope. No signature. Just a single pressed lavender bud crumbled between the pages, and ink that had blurred in places as if someone had wept while writing.
Some stories are not lost.
They are waiting.
And today, this one has chosen to be heard.
